Dean's Arts Advisory Council
Michigan State University’s Dean’s Arts Advisory Council was created by College of Arts and Letters Dean, Christopher P. Long, in August 2019. The DAAC helps the College proactively respond to the recent arts strategy initiative from the Provost and creates strategic benchmarks and programming for the College and University that meets the collaborative goals with our partners. We act as a conduit to share existing programming and ideas from our fellow departmental faculty to create “big picture” programming and curricula for the arts and letters at MSU. We also work with the Dean to identify potential funding and collaborative sources and convey national and international trends in cross-disciplinary artistic endeavors to create sustainable opportunities that would situate MSU as a leader in the arts.
The CREATE! Micro-grant program was founded and developed by former DAAC members Divya Victor and Rob Roznowski.
